I think that books are great, but when you read them for school, all you hear about is the symbolism. Some books, like the Lord of the Flies, are highly symbolic; but some books are just written for the heck of it. All english teachers seem to think that all books are bursting with symbols. I, on the other hand, am thouroughly convinced that curly hair does not symbolize the inner evil of mankind. But thats just me.

hi-LARIOUS. I used to say that exact same thing in high school!
And I for one am happy that my curly hair only means that I inherited it from someone not that I am showing my inner self!
