Chemistry-challenged

The other day in chemistry, we did a lab where we soaked a stick in liquid forms of elements like lithium, copper, and barium. Next, we stuck the stick in the flame and watched to see what color the flame turned. All we had to do on the lab was write down the color of the flame. I was all, "Ya! This is my kind of lab!" Then, when I reached to turn of the gas for the flame, I spilled the lithium all over my lab sheet and my work space and my hands. I guess I'm just not cut out for chemistry. Turns out, lithium really stings in cuts and scrapes. *****
In other news, my mom and I went to the Twilight movie premiere on Thursday night/Friday morning. Well, technically it wasn't the premiere, that was the 12:00 show. We went to the 12:04 show.
I decided that the guy who plays Carlisle is freakish. He walked in, and everyone in the theatre just cracked up. He looks like he's twelve, but all the other vampires look at least in their thirties. The only part I liked was the end where Edward fought James. Other than that, it was pretty lame. I might have liked it better if Edward's voice had actually been lower than Bella's.

How did you like the Twilight movie?

in the movie. In the books (and my head) he is only slightly imperfect, which only makes him more amazing. I will honestly say I am madly in love with a fictional character. How depressing.

I liked it okay. I liked Jacob, which I was worried about because he's my favorite. The high school kids were good I thought, acted very...high school, and it wasn't written that way in the book, so I liked that difference. I really missed the Biology where they do the blood typing and when Edward listens to the conversation between Jess & Bella about how she feels about Edward. It was okay though.
