Sledding at the Cabin

Getting home from a ski trip with a freind, finding this on my driveway!

Rootbeer floats after a halo night!

My first formal event- a place of honor in a Quincenera

So now i'm just trying to figure out ... what happened?  How did I end up here?  Why is my life so different?

One of my callings is sunday school secratary, and we didn't have a teacher today in church.  I don't know who any of the councillors are or where they werer, and the president was out of town, so I got to improv a lesson today on Mathew 13.  It was awesome.  (That was total sarcasm, for those who didn't catch it.)

My mom hasn't answered every time I've called this week, so I haven't talked to her all week.

My home is now an apartment with 3 other girls who used to be complete strangers.

I do homework all on my own.

I don't have to tell anyone where I am.  I can take off, and noone be me will ever know where I went or why or when I'll be back, as long as I come back within 2 days of leaving.

How did this happen?

You grew up. That's how it happened. I LOVED it. Every minute of my freshman year of college. I loved knowing I didn't have to check in or go to bed or church or anything if I didn't want to. I did, of course, but I really loved that freedom. It wasn't until my second year that I realized I was homesick and a little sad.

Yes Ellen, they do! I saw them in the garage last time I was there!
