3 months!

I've been so stressed about our upcoming spring break trip, I haven't taken or edited any 3 month photos yet.  Maybe when we actually get there I'll get around to it.

Some things about TJ at 3 months:

His hair is coming is thick!  He has a bald patch in the back, like most babies, and below the patch his hair is really brown, but above it, his hair is more dark blonde.
I'm actually thinking he's going to need a hair cut before next month.

He is gaining excellent control of his arms!  Hands...not so much.  He reaches for toys, puts his fists in his mouth, and likes to 'hold' his bottle when he eats.

He noticed his feet last week.  He loves to stare at them.

He is starting to make more 'jabbering' noises and less 'cooing' noises.

He has a noise that sounds alot like "hi" that he says whenever he sees me or Tyler.  It's more like "aeey," because he's usually smiling.

He still gets up for one feeding around 3 or 4 in the morning, but it's moving later and later so I think I'll let it phase out on it's own rather than trying to train him off of it.

A scary number of times, I've walked into find TJ has pulled his blanket up over his face while escaping his swaddle.  I've stopped wrapping his arms, and he is perfectly happy to sleep with them over his head.  Unfortunately, it makes getting to sleep a little more difficult since he inadvertently whacks himself in the face.

All these photos are in reverse-chronological order (last one is oldest, first one is newest).
Baby boy is so long!  I was surprised he only has a little bit of growing room in here!  We've been having him sleep in his pack n' play so he could get used to something different before our spring break trip.
Morning cuddles!  Believe it or not, he was smiling right before I snapped this.
Long walks are too hard on Zap.  Thankfully we have a stroller now

TJ really hates tummy time.  He has barely any arm strength, so we're buckling down and making him do it anyway
This picture really brings out some features from my s- the nose, the shape of his face.  He looks so much like Tyler, but those Skousen features are still there!  I think he resembles my Mom and Logan alot here.
TJ went shopping last week!  We've finally started integrating real life now that he's 3 months.  Before, I would not go anywhere unless I could leave TJ home with Tyler.  Now, he comes on errands with me during the day all the time now!  I couldn't ask for a cuter shopping buddy.

He is just so cute!
Thoughtful baby.

We sure love our sweet boy!  It is amazing how much he grows and learns in just a few short days.  I feel sad that he isn't a newborn anymore, but it is exciting to see him starting to gain some independence and curiosity.

He is super cute!!! I'm excited because I definitely see Larson in him!!!

The Mom role looks FANTASTIC on you!!! that picture of you and TJ is just amazing!

How's he doing with sleeping in the pack 'n play? where are you going for spring break?

The pack n'play sort of scares him, since it rocks a little bit when he kicks (which is all the time). Last night he woke up and freaked out because he didn't know where he was, but it won't be any better on the trip.

We're going to Spokane, to visit Tyler's family. I'm just super anxious to travel with a baby!

It's so much easier to travel with them when they are younger because they sleep more! Good luck I hope everything goes smoothly!
