Hey y'all! Did you know my mom just spent a whole WEEK camping up in the mountains? Well, she did. She was the ward camp leader this year. She's basically awesome, because a very long list of people said NO to that calling before she said yes. (Seriously? Who says no?!)
I was super jealous. I love girls camp, and Haley got to go with her! They basically had a party without me.
Good thing Tyler took me somewhere fun for date night.
Last night, after we finished our big grocery trip for the month, Tyler and I got a lovely little text from Jared and Katelyn(same one from camping) inviting us to go to the hotsprings with them. There's several springs roundabouts, but we went to Heise hot springs, which is up Kelly Canyon. We passed it last week on our way to camp further up Kelly Canyon.

I brought the camera, but it was around 8:30 when we got there, and it was rainy, dark, and wet. So I thank public domain for the wonderful images featured below.
This is the not warm pool. The water slide is fun, but it was FREEZING, especially considering the low-50's weather we've been having.
But I did it!
By the way, there were DEFINITELY not this many people there. We were the only ones, in fact.
Then we went over to the hot springs, where there were a few other people. It smelled like sulpher! The warm pool was a little too cool, but the hot pool was waay to hot. We spent our time going back and forth between the two.
Oh, I did take a picture.
This is my bruise from camping last week.
The bike fell on me.
Dirt bikes are heavy.
I can't believe I'm posting this nasty picture.
It's the only one I actually took, so.... oh well.
After we finished swimming, we all came back to Rexburg, showered off, and watched Van Helsing, which I have never seen before! Last night my dreams were full of vampires and badly-animated wherewolfs.
I am grateful for friends and adventures.

good times! gotta love a last minute trip!
Haley and I had an amazing week at girls camp even though we both wished you were there! Loved coming home to running water bathrooms!

I was the camp director once, and I am pretty sure I would say no if asked again. Awful.
We used to go to hot springs when I was at BYU! Fun. And stinky.
Also, you're so lucky to have couple friends this early. It took us YEARS to have couple friends. It was so lonely.
We are lucky. Most of our good friends are engaged right now, but they're close. Plus we get to go to all of their sealings, which is SO cool!
