This is our new! (used) couch. We are so very happy about it...it's predecessor was a futon. And before the futon was our 'couch,' it was Tyler's bed. Anyway, we're happy to have something new and beautiful in the apartment.

It's kindof amazing how we got it- I posted on facebook about how tired I was of not having a couch, and my lovely sister-in-law mentioned that she was selling hers! We texted her right away, and the very next day we were on our way to Logan to pick it up.
We were doing lots of moving last week anyway- I sorted out our office at last. I wish I'd taken some before pictures, because compared to the piles of junk it was before, it's sortof heavenly now.
We sold our ugly desk and several sets of plastic drawers. (useful, but not pretty). We spent some Christmas money on some new shelves, and moved the futon in to use as a guest bed. There's still a few boxes in the corner that need moving out, but I am so much happier with it.
We have alot of stuff. Can you tell? For poor college kids, we have quite a book collection.
The dishwasher is making funny noises again. Uhg.
Do you have a 'messy room' in the house? How do you keep it under control?

It looks so nice! I bet it is heaven after a futon-couch. Lucky.
My bedroom ends up being messy because the kids go in and bring stuff that they leave behind, and also I hate hanging clothes up in the closet so there tends to be lots of clothes on the bed before the end of the day. I hate it.
We always have clothes on our bed because I'll do laundry, but I wont fold it until Tyler comes to do it with me, so we'll have like 4 loads to fold right before bed.
what? no, we have no such rooms in our house!
