why today is a bust

1. Woke up to foot of snow on my car, and everywhere else.  Not kidding- 12 whole inches, people!
2. Almost died 3 times on the way to work(because they hadn't plowed the roads by 10 AM!)
3. Found out (while at work) my $835 medication is no longer being covered by health insurance, so instead of paying my usual $40 for it, they want the full $835. 
4. No work assignments until tomorrow
5. Almost died twice on the way to get blood drawn
6. Got poked twice, but before she tried again, she dug around in my arm for a few minutes. It felt awesome. 
7. Almost died 5 times on the way home
8. Got a call as soon as I walked in the door that they dropped my blood, so I have to go get it redrawn.

So, I'm calling it.  It's 12:00 PM and I think I just need to stay home, eat ice cream, and catch up on Downton Abbey.  Definitely not getting my 40 hours in this week.
