sometimes, nothing works out.

I finally found an interior designer who I love.
I really like classic style, but it tends to be so dark and heavy.
Miriam makes classic light and breezy!
Unfortunately, she is based out of Ireland and southern France.

We like to sit TJ up in the boppy, propped by a pillow so he's upright.
His insatiable desire to be standing/upright has lead to a new thing he does,
where he lunges forward.
Usually this results in a face plant.
I assume he doesn't want to end up face-down on the floor, but he never cries.
Maybe he likes grinding his face into the carpet?

He did that tonight, while I was making dinner.
Tyler: "Look!  He's trying to crawl!"
Me: "Oh no!  The baby fell over again!" promptly sets the baby upright
Tyler: "Oh.  I thought he was supposed to be doing tummy time."

Zap fell behind the couch.
It was so funny.
Thankfully, he wasn't hurt.
But the look on his face was priceless.

I packed up all of our big winter coats and snow boots last week.
I waited a month to make sure it wouldn't snow again.
It snowed 2 inches on Friday.  I thought, "It's okay!  It's just a little bit."
It snowed 2 feet this mrning.
I hate everything.

TJ went to church today!
I was too stressed out to stay for all three hours.
He did great, but there is SO much pressure to keep him quiet it makes me super anxious.

My photographer and I couldn't work things out,
so I finally just took some pictures myself and put together TJ's birth announcements.
Finally.
I only ordered 10, so I'll probably send those out then order 10 or 15 more to send to extended family.
3 months isn't too late, is it?

Why am I always behind on laundry?!
We only added one, teeny, tiny person to the house.

Have I mentioned that my old roommate is my new next-door neighbor?
I was a bridesmaid at her wedding 2 years ago,
and if she hadn't been across the country, she would have been my maid of honor.
I can't believe how lucky I am to have her three steps from my front door!
Sometimes she just comes over to visit during the day.
I love love love it.

Thank goodness for friends.

That is so fun to have your roommate so close! That's one thing I miss about the college life, having good friends just steps away to hang out with.

Snow in spring is my least favorite weather after wind.

I sent birth announcements late (and in Zoe's case not at all). No biggie!

I figured since he was the first one it would be a good idea. I'm not sure if I'll bother with the rest of the kids.

my mom has told me countless times that i'll be doing about 2 loads of laundry a day.

If you're rich enough to hire an interior designer it won't be a big deal to fly her in from Ireland.

April, if I don't do at least 1 load a day I'm behind for a week. It's awesome.
Em, that's what I decided. But when I explained that to Tyler he just rolled his eyes.
