Ahhh. I forgot how therapeutic blogging can be. I am the kind of person who deals with things by talking about them. Sometimes over, and over, and over. I process things better externally than internally!
I'm thinking about resurrecting the blog. It's been fun playing with the design a bit. The logo still needs some work, but one thing at a time, right?
In the meantime, here's a few thoughts I need to get out of my head so I can stop thinking them.
I wrote out a schedule for TJ, so that whoever watches him when I go in to labor will have a million pages of notes on just how he likes his breakfast.
In reality, TJ is an easy kid to watch. I could leave him somewhere all day and he would be just fine, he's flexible like that. I'm the one who isn't flexible. Leaving him for even two days to go have a baby is stressing me out!
My body is aching from holding this baby in. How on earth does my body do this? How do people have 6 kids? or 10? At some point it seems like the babies would just start falling out when they get too heavy.
Some days I feel a little sad that I won't get to enjoy TJ being an only child for a little longer.
Some days TJ seems so big, I am relieved I'll be having a newborn again soon because it eases the heartache of him growing up.
It's official. My favorite candy is sour patch watermelons.
Tyler's 'work' hours have changed from 8-5 to 7-6. It doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal, but that last hour from 5 to 6 pm is the WORST.
TJ's gotten alot more TV time lately. Probably not related, right?
Over the last month, I've been nesting like crazy. The house has been almost spotless (except for the kiddie toys everywhere). I sewed like ten projects and read eight books in two weeks. Then this week happened and all my productive energy is completely gone. Bummer. I guess I can put the sewing machine away now.
If anyone actually read this, shoot me a comment telling me how you like the new colors. I'm a big fan of green and pink, but I wanted something subtle. How did I do?

I really should spell check before I post! The colors are great!
i sometimes randomly check your blog and i feel a little sad i missed you "comeback" prior to you announcing your "comeback". LOVE the colors.
i can totally related to your comment "million pages of notes just on his breakfast". i think we as moms have "our way" but the kid could probably care less how smashed up the fruit is for their oatmeal.
i'm not even pregnant and i miss Helena being an only child. (hopefully some day she'll be a big sister).
so his hours changed from 8-5 to 7-6, so he's going in an hour earlier AND staying an hour later?
Yes April! It was horrible. He started a new job this week, but it's in the same city (about a 45 minute commute away) so he has to leave so early and get back so late. It's seriously the death of me.
When I went to Paris I literally had 10 pages of notes for my dad watching my kids. It's ridiculous the amount of information in my head about my kids wants/needs.
When I was pregnant with Zoe I was sick for like 26 weeks and I let my boys watch Sponge Bob. I hhaaaaatte sponge bob. Like HATE. So you know I was desperate for those boys to watch TV and leave me alone. I get it.
Isaac's favorite is the watermelons too!
