...watched Layla, this sweet little girl in our ward.
(she's around a year I think...
starting to try to walk, can't talk)
Her daddy served in the same mission as Tyler.
Anywho,
Tyler had her most of the afternoon,
but I came home from classes
and played with her
then held her for a few minutes
and she fell asleep.
"Great. I can't put her on the bed, because she'll roll off.
But I'm not putting a sleeping baby on the floor!"
So now she's on the couch,
where I can see her if she starts rolling around.
Also,
my blogger friend Jana is at the hospital today
having her own little baby.
I can't wait for my own.
Well, I can.
What I'm trying to say is,
I'm really looking forward to being a mama someday.
(Plus, there is nothing more attractive than a hot guy, like Tyler, holding a cute baby)
I know, I'm ridiculous.
What were/are your feelings on being a mom?

I wanted a baby from the day I got married but luckily Heavenly Father knew better and I couldn't get pregnant until a few months after I graduated from BYU. And I thank Him every day for it. Parenting is the hardest thing. Ever. Trying to parent and be a student is literally suicide. You have eternity to be a parent but only a few blissful years with your only responsibility being test scores and sleeping. :)
IF we got pregnant, I'd probably drop out after I had the kid. Even the gals who want to finish do after a little one.
Solution? Don't get pregnant!
Parenting is the best and the worst. The time Jared and I had before kids is my best memory of us. Don 't rush it for sure
Chris wants babies like yesterday, and if he had his way we would probably start trying next week (right after we get married). i myself want to be married. i'm selfish, i want our time as a couple. we are still a new couple and everything has moved so fast, so i want our time as husband and wife. but unlike you i'm more on a time clock since i'm almost 33. i had originally told chris we would start trying after 1 year of marriage. but i've compromised and 1 year is now 6 months. i definitely want kids, and i know chris is going to be a great dad, but i love our nights hanging out on the couch, going out on dates, traveling, and sleeping in, etc... and i know that once a baby is in the picture those time will drastically decrease, and i'm not ready to give them up. knowing that we could be pregnant by this time next year i'm already mentally cherishing the times it's just the two of us.
you're super lucky, you could easily be married for 10 years just you and tyler without having to even think about kids!
