| Taken at the Billings, Montana zone conference. Can you find Elder Skousen? |
Things are going well for Elder Skousen up in Montana! He wasn't quite prepared for the cold weather, but he's getting used to it. During the crazy freeze a few weeks ago, his pipes froze, so they went for a few days without running water, but he survived!

| Elder Skousen and Elder McGrath |
He is still in the same area that he started in, but he got a new companion this transfer - Elder McGrath. Elder McGrath is from Cali, so like Logan, he is used to warmer weather! He's a pretty tall guy at 6"1', but you wouldn't know it by the picture. Logan makes everyone look short.
He's also lost alot of weight - he says his pants are just huge on him now (which is too bad, since I'm pretty sure my mom aged twenty years trying to find enough pairs of pants his size before he left).
Logan has been invited to have Christmas dinner with a wonderful family in his area. He says he's not feeling too homesick, but is grateful to be out serving the Lord.
We are so excited to skype on Christmas day - he get's to skype me and Tyler as well as my family back and Albuquerque. We're so lucky!
We miss him, be we are so proud of him.

I had a hard time finding him in that picture because I expected him to be standing in back! Heh. We're having some sisters over to skype at our house with their families. Apparently they aren't allowed to ask and nobody in their ward invited them, so word got out in our ward and we invited them over. The sister I talked to cried and cried today and told me I was an answer to their prayers. Made me feel so good. You get to talk to your family twice a year, wouldn't it be so awful to miss it?!
They aren't allowed to ask? How sad! Good for you guys. Logan has wifi, since they live in someone's basement. That would have been so terrible for those sisters!
Yay Logan! That is all
When we skyped today, he told me last time he weighed (like 2 months ago) he had lost over 40 pounds. Dude!!!!
