I thought it would be cute to snap a picture of TJ holding some mothers day flowers, but he systematically pulled off each blossom then pulled of the petals.

It was alot of fun.

I'm so grateful for all of the wonderful women in my life who prepared me to be a wife and mother.  There are so many wonderful people, but my mothers and grandmothers get special credit.

My Grandma Ruth, who showed me that every woman can be her own woman.

 My Grandma Larson, who has always been like my second mother.

She also taught me the importance of burping babies.

And, of course, my mama mama.  My wonderful mother taught me everything, and she helped me figure out how to be a mama myself.
