On Friday I took the kids to the splash pad, probably for the last time. The splash pads here are so much fun! I guess the kids are getting accustomed to it because we spent most of our time on the swings.
Eli claimed my hat. He's so cute I don't mind sharing.
Saturday we rode the train again. It's TJ's very favorite thing to do.
We rode all the way to downtown, then walked a few blocks to the Dallas Central Library.
They had some seriously cool things there, including art everywhere. TJ loved these little cows. He liked them enough that he agreed to take a picture with them.
I stopped to change Eli's diaper on the children's floor. The bathrooms had tiny a tiny, kids-size toilette and urinal. These pictures don't show the scale that well. I thought they were just so cute. I made TJ come see them and he was like "A little potty!" And wanted to use the little potty, which was awesome.

On the way home we hit up A&W for free root beer floats. There was nobody else there. It was awesome and weird, because in Utah, anything free warrants at least a one-hour wait! I guess Utah people just love their free stuff.
The kids ^ are smiling because there was a digger across the street.
We finished off our day at the pool. It was a little weird saying goodbye at church today. We were starting to get to know people, and I'm sad to go because there are some seriously great people here. But mostly, Dallas isn't going to notice we are gone. That's a little weird.
Either way, I can hardly think about anything besides reuniting with my washer and dryer. I'm holding on to that because the next two weeks are going to be ca-ray-zeee. We are visiting family, moving back home, then doing wedding shenanigans all next week. And the week after that Tyler starts school again and the week after that so do I. And that, my friends, is life.
