After a short overnight stay in Seattle we headed back to Tyler's home in Spokane for our first reception.
Tyler and his two youngest brothers...
just before a tickle fight.
The goose. A Smith family tradition- its given whenever there's a big event. Now its our turn to pass it on.
Sorry. I'm a sucker for a good candid. Especially me in my fabulous dress.
Mom and I.
My gorgeous cake, complete with silver sugar-pearls.
And now, for a little story. Its called, "Tyler learns a lesson/ Cutting the cake"
S-"So we're not gonna do that whole cake-smash thing. Right honey?"
T-"Of course! I'll be good!"
La la la cut the cake
Pause to admire how incredibly thin my waist looks....
ya ya. I'm a little vain. It was my wedding day.
T-looking to groomsmen, who are clearly egging him on.
Oh, so nice!
*SQUISH IN SUMMERS FACE*
and run away
This is me getting the groomsmen in trouble.
This is me chasing Tyler.
It was mostly in his hair. :)
So, Tyler learns a lesson.
And says sorry.
But Summer still got him back in the Albuquerque reception.
The end!
We had pretty little glasses with our names and wedding date on them.
(Also admire summers fancy fingernails)
There was chocolate and orange-creme cake. Delish.
And after we stayed in fancy hotels (compliments of Tylers step-brother) for a few days until we headed to florida. It was pretty much awesome. We even got a penthouse suite one night!
*****
So basically being married is great.
And I cook and make nice dinners.
And we have a MILLION glasses. Why? I don't know.
So we're all moved in to our apartment in Rexburg.
But more on that later, since I'm still behind on wedding posting.
Happy week after easter where all the candy's on sale!

Summer, I love your comment on your tiny waist. There's a wedding picture of me coming out of the temple that I look at all the time and marvel at my own tiny waist! We must be related. :)
It looks so beautiful, and so do you! I love it all. I do not love the cake-smash.
