chop it off

I always said that I wanted to grow my hair out until I got married, then I would be free to cut it short.
Well, it's time to cut it short!
Long hair is fun and there is LOTS more you can do with it, but I am so ready for something different.  Plus, my hair is in dire need of a fresh start.  After years of layering, I have split ends everywhere and rarely does a trim manage to  get them all.
This morning, I curled my hair my favorite way to honor its last day attached to my head.

Then I made my way to a cute little salon on main street... and chopped all my hair off.

cute! i go back and forth a LOT but the only reason i have long-ish hair right now is because there is nowhere to go here and I haven't had so much as a trim since February 2011. Does Tyler like it?

Tyler is okay with it. He prefers long. :) But seriously your hair is so healthy, I'm super jealous. Remember how you sent your ponytail to my mom forever ago? Well I was gonna do that, but my ponytail was thin and the ends were disgusting so I just chucked it. I want to find something super good to help my hair grow thick because in a few years I want to grow it out again. Whats that awesome super-expensive anti-split ends stuff you use/used? I need to put it on my christmas list.

I use Kerastase Chroma Riche for shine and health and Nectar Thermique for split ends and heat protection. If you were just buying one I would go with Nectar Thermique.
