He also said he wanted to review my due date. We had alot of ultrasounds early on because I had a bleed, so there was alot of discrepancy on my due date. I was given June 11, 14, and 23 at different ultrasounds. They ultimately decided to go with the 23. However, after reviewing the ultrasound used to pick that date with their head sonographer (sp?), the doctor decided it was too low quality to be used to determine a due date. He officially moved my due date to June 14th, which puts me at 28 weeks and 3 days! I am so so so happy about it! It also explains why this baby has measured so insanely big at every ultrasound after 12 weeks. It took all the self control in my hormone-laced body to stop myself from bursting into happy tears when he told me.
So pretty much, I'll have a baby in the next two weeks! If I don't go into labor on my own they will schedule an induction shortly after 40 weeks.
This weekend I had the worst heartburn I have ever experienced. I have to take alot of prescription medications for my colitis, so I try not to take extra drugs unless I really have to. But I gave in and got me some tums. Seriously, that stuff is miraculous.
Tyler apparently read somewhere that people look better in pictures where you use a 30 degree angle. I pointed out that the point of a bump picture was to see the bump, which was best done from strait on. But I have to appreciate that he's trying to make me look good!
When I was pregnant with TJ, my feet and back ached horribly. I've had some of those pains this time, but not nearly so bad. Probably because I mostly sit on the couch, whereas with TJ I was in school and walked all over campus every day. I don't know how I did that. Being pregnant and in school seems like the worst thing ever. But being pregnant and having a toddler isn't a walk in the park either. I guess pregnancy is just hard.
I can hardly wait for this baby to show up. I want to meet him and bring him home and get this whole birth thing over with.
I'm so grateful for my little TJ. He is such a cutie, and a great helper. When I ask, he picks up things from the floor and hands them to me (since I can't bend over). He still sits on my lap, even though there is barely room. I can't believe my little baby is so big. Last night I let him carry the (plastic) dishes to the table for dinner. He got so excited that I let him take the juice, the cups, and the potholders. Some people tell me it's just his age, and maybe it is, but I also think he likes to be helpful by nature. He has such a cheerful disposition. It's so amazing to watch his personality blossom. I hope these two boys are buddies.

Oh man that is amazing! And unheard of. I've never heard of someone moving a date up at this point. I'm so happy for you!! Isaac and Noah were my closest baby/pregnancy and man I remember that stage when you're just so big and want to lay down all day but you have this busy little toddler. I'm so glad TJ is a happy helpful kid instead of a tantrummy one. So sweet for you!

Seriously, Em, I could not believe it. It has come up at a ton of my appointments, but it always came back to "We just don't like to change dates at this point in the pregnancy."
Seriously, TJ is the best. In the mornings he watches TV or plays by himself for like 2 hours while I nap on the couch (I'm a SUPER great mom). It's heaven.
