any day now

I finally found the Spanish equivalent of "Sesame Street" on our local broadcast Spanish channel.
It's called "Plaza Sesamo."
All in all it's pretty good,
they have a giant parrot instead of big bird.
The only problem is the number of the day is always 11 or 12.
We watch this show three or four times a week, so I've seen a few episodes by now.
Maybe they think Spanish speakers only need to know the numbers 11 and 12?

Tyler decided he wanted to work four 10-hour days instead of five 8-hour days.
There are benefits to this -
less gas on commuting,
fridays off....
but it also means he has to go to bed right after TJ since he gets up at 5 AM now.
While I super appreciate his hard work and dedication,
I'm really missing our mommy and daddy time.

Since Tyler goes to bed and I'm exhausted anyway I go to bed too.
So I haven't had any time to watch fun shows or sew new projects.

At my NST yesterday,
the nurse pointed out on ultrasound that the baby is so low, his heart is below my belly button.
I was like, "ya, I know.  Why do you think I walk like a penguin?"

The doctor I saw today told me I was 5 cm dilated.
Also, she was one of those who obviously didn't read my file.  I hate that.
She wanted me to get induced tomorrow.
As tempting as that is, I really hope I go into labor on my own,
so I scheduled for next week instead.
I did make her strip my membranes though.
It was weird.  She was all on board for an induction,
but I had to be pretty pushy to get the membranes done.

Every time I wake up to pee at night(about six times a night)
the first thought in my head is,
Am I in labor yet?

Also I'm starving.
All the time.

The membranes hurt! I hope it works! With Noah, I had it done on a Friday then walked all day at Swiss days Saturday and went into labor Sunday. So I'd bet it's any day, for sure. I hope so anyway!

I'm starving all the time too. It happens when I nurse and I'm literally gaining weight like gangbusters. But I'm SERIOUSLY STARVING ALL THE TIME. I am still hungry after eating a full meal at dinner. It's ridiculous.

I used to work four 10's when I had a 20 mile commute and loved it. But of course I was single at the time. If anything I think you'll find more value in that extra day off, plus he probably won't be in as much traffic on the way home, since it is later.

Although I know the afternoons will be difficult.

Will he get any time off now that Eli is here?

So happy that baby came on his own!
