After Convocation on Friday, Tyler and his family went out to eat while I put kids to bed. On Saturday, we had everyone over for a lunch/cake/party to celebrate! Tyler had a blast doing tricks in his grad robe.
My sister-in-law, Cassie, is the coolest person alive and had a T-Rex suit in the trunk of her car. So obviously we got it out. My kids were terrified.
Eventually Tyler put on the suit and T-Rex went for a crazy motorcycle ride around the parking lot! Someone got videos of it but I was inside with my crying, terrified kids. There was quite a crowd though- lots of people from the surrounding apartments went out to watch and video T-Rex doing moto stunts.
It was a super awesome party! In addition to the convocation crowd, some of my extended family from Draper came down, and Tyler's sister Amanda and her husband came all the way form their anniversary getaway in Idaho. I was so grateful that everyone came - it made it such a memorable weekend!
