summer break 2017: spokane part 3

Saturday, after we got back from the cabin, we had a big party birthday party for Tracy's kids!  I spent most of it trying to force Eli to nap.  But they had some really fun games and lots of friends to play with.  Of course they finished up in the pool, and by that time I had thrown the white flag on naptime so Eli got to join in!

The big downside of the party was Tyler spraining his ankle!  He was wearing flip flops and slipped on a boulder.  He spent the rest of the day with his feet up, icing it.  Poor guy!

On Sunday, I went to church alone.  I was too wimpy to take the kids by myself, and my in-laws ward meets at 1, but I wanted to go earlier.  When I got home, we realized we were flying home on Tuesday, instead of Wednesday, like we thought!  So we tried to plan Monday to fit in all the things we didn't get done.  The highlight for me was date night with Tyler.  My mother-in-law is always so sweet to make sure that happens.  We went to a fancy dinner and got the MOST amazing ice cream afterwards!  Then we went home and packed and packed.
It was a fun trip - completely jam-packed with fun!  My kids love their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins and haven't stopped talking about the cabin.
