cinnamon roll disaster

I am supposed to be cleaning right now, but I just need you all to know about this ridiculousness.
Cinnamon rolls are everyone's conference tradition.  Unlike everyone, I am lazy and prefer to buy thaw-and-bake rolls.  We ran to the store to pick some up last night, and decided to get the oober large bag so we could make them again.
During the first session of conference this morning, I realized that the rolls made it into the house, and onto the counter, but not into the freezer.  I assumed Tyler would put them away, since he carried them in and it was the only thing we bought (so why not just put it strait in the freezer?!).  He assumed I would put them away, since I always put away the groceries.
They sat out all night, thawed, and started rising in the bag.  I stuck them in the freezer and called my mom, who told me they couldn't be re-frozen.  I proceeded to cut the bag open and pull apart all 30 rolls.  I managed to keep 22 of them in cinnamon-roll shape, but since they were raw and doughy, their were a few casualties.
Now that I had rolls in pans, I read the baking instructions and popped them in.  30 minutes later I pulled out 2 pans of nearly-blackened rolls.  Apparently, the cook time on the bag was for rolls that had not been thawed.  I had 1 small pan left, so I used the cook time for rolls that had thawed, and they came out...edible. They tasted doughy, even though they were cooked through.
Tyler is on a diet and only eats sugar once a week (on Sundays), so he asked me to try saving a pan in the fridge.  I saved the above pan of uglies, since they might turn in to yummy pull-apart goodness.
So at the end of the day, we have 16 burnt rolls, 6 gross rolls and a pan of 8 cinnamon...worm things to bake tomorrow.
*sigh*

Hi-larious! Man that is the worst, isn't it? I once left a $10 block of cheese and some sausage in my trunk, I didn't realize for a few days that they were missing, so mad at myself for the wasted money. We bought the Rhodes cinnamon rolls too but I just bought the ones in the pan instead of the ones that have to raise.
