In the summer it heats up the house too much.
It makes the house smell yummy all day,
and then you have a pretty easy hot dinner.
If only crockpots had a self-cleaning option.
Then I could cook all day,
and let it clean all night,
then cook again the next day.
Perfect.
I also love that autumn is full of holidays that everyone decorates for.
Like last year, I went to the farmers market
and bought a bunch of little pumpkins and squashes for super cheap to put around the house.
I also printed and put together this cute banner.
Minus the "y'all". My banner just says "Happy Fall," because I y'all is not a real word.
We don't really have a decorating budget,
so I'm all about printables from pinterest.

| This is my scarf jar. It's about 1/3 of my scarf collection. |
Fall allows me to break out my favorite accessory - scarves.
I love wearing scarves.
Scarves became my favorite thing
when my mom & aunts visited France,
and reported that everyone in Paris wears scarves.
Also,
scarves are comfy.
And I have a very large collection.
We pay for a storage unit.
Although we have a few boxes in there,
it's mostly to store Tyler's bike in the winter.
He keeps refusing to put it away
because he wants to ride it.
But seriously, 40* is too cold to ride a motorcycle around.

| Zap loves GAP as much as I do! |
so Zap has a little sweatshirt he wears.
It's a GAP sweatshirt. (Best purchase ever, mom!)
We seriously have to put in on him or he gets cold.
But I can see why people like dressing up their dogs.
It's pretty cute.
3 more months until baby boy arrives!
13 weeks!!! 87 days (if he comes on his due date)!!!
I get a little teary and jealous when I see mommas with their baby boys.
My maternal instincts are going nuts.
When a baby cries, my body tenses up and I have a crazy urge to grab the baby and take care of it. I hope the tensing up goes away,
because I don't want to spaz out every time my baby cries.
-Mrs. Smith
P.S.
Since there are only 13 weeks until baby comes, there are only 12 weeks left in the year 2013. Isn't that crazy?

They have liners for crockpot so all you have to do is throw the liner away- they are pretty nice! My little Squirt has quite the collection of dresses and sweaters. She is a styling puppy!
If you spray the crockpot with Pam before you add anything it makes it way easier to clean.
I love scarves too! I wear one every day. But I'm getting sick of mine. Send me yours!
love your crockpot idea!...and love that your family has some cleaning options. i'll definitely put those to use!
i'm loving fall right now too. I put up our halloween decorations. the "happy halloween" sign that i have is probably about 25+ years old...that i stole from my parents house, along with a ghost that hangs from the wall.
I'll have to start doing the pam. I hate leaving the stupid pot to soak for 5 days before the crap comes off.
