I was the only pregnant person there.
The instructor did alot of moves that involved "hugging your knees," which usually left me awkwardly trying to fit my belly between my thighs.
There were alot of moves I could do, but man, pregnant women do NOT look cute doing yoga.
I spent at least 1/3 of the class sitting on my mat because they were doing poses (back stands, arch, ect) that I didn't dare even attempt.
Also, I am so terrible at balancing now.
Even worse, the baby hates yoga. Usually when I'm moving around, he sleeps. During yoga, he kicks and kicks, especially when I'm in an unusual position that pushes him out of his comfort zone. Not cute kicks, either. Hard, stop-moving-I-don't-like-this kicks. His little acrobatics make it a little challenging to "center my zen."
I tried it 2 weeks in a row, to make sure I wasn't just quitting because it was hard. I think next week I'll stick to the elliptical in the gym.

How do you/will you stay fit during pregnancy?

don't they have prenatal yoga? i would think with a campus with so many pregnancies, that should be an option?
Good for you for trying it two weeks in a row!
i love the elliptical!
I've only been able to find paid classes here in Rexburg, but you'd think they would have a campus one for students...
Yoga is hard, I can't imagine how much harder it would be pregnant. Most instructors say "if you're pregnant, do it this way". Shame on your instructor for not helping. :)
No kidding! That's another reason for not going back...I'm a little miffed. The first week I was wearing Tyler's gym shirt, so I thought maybe she didn't notice, but last week I wore my own shirt so it's not like you could ignore it. Maybe she just thought I was fat? ;)
