Tyler: Making Pregnancy Possible

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disclaimer:  This is a very long, mushy post full of me talking about how great I think my husband is, so maybe you want to skip this one.  It won't hurt my feelings, really.  I just need to write down somewhere, at least once on the internet, how awesome my man is.  If you're gonna skip, go check out this post  instead.  It's pretty hilarious.

Although Tyler was pretty important in the physical process of getting pregnant, he deserves a ton of credit for getting me through the last seven months emotionally, physically, and mentally.  I am a wimp, and I really don't know if I could have come this far on my own and still be as sane as I am.

This man is a trooper.  I cannot tell you how many melt-downs, how many fast-food runs, how many hormone-induced rages he has had to endure.  I'll be the first to admit- I am not easy to live with.  Adjusting to life with me was tough when we were first married, but I think adjusting to pregnant me was a whole new mountain for my sweet husband to climb.

When I have a problem, I deal with it by complaining.  This means he listens to me complain about the woes of pregnancy, from pain to weight gain (or lack thereof).  He listens to every little thing without ever criticizing or saying "Heaven sakes, woman!  Shut up and get over it!"  In fact, he is sympathetic and always asks if there is anything he can do.  I have no idea where he learned to be so patient, but I am so grateful that he is.

Although my pregnancy hasn't terribly complicated, I did have some periods where I was very, very sick.  I was miserable, tired, and grouchy.  Tyler was always there to hold me when I cried (which was alot), and give me a priesthood blessing when I needed it.  He also took great pains to try and make me comfortable and help me feel better.

This semester, even though he was much more busy than I was, he took over cooking dinners so that I would eat healthy every night when I decided I was too exhausted to cook.  Or clean, for that matter (the apartment reached an unprecedented amount of clutter this semester).  Tyler worked hard to pick up my slack, and for that I am forever grateful.

I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband.  I couldn't ask for more.  He is so wonderful at anticipating my needs and working hard to meet them.  He is incredible unselfish and willing to serve me.  I'm not saying he's perfect, but he sure is perfect for me.  I want to become the wife he deserves.  I'm really glad he's giving me all of eternity to work on it.  I love him and look forward to raising this little boy with such a wonderful father.

Funny! At first I thought it was my dad, but then I clicked on the profile and the blog listed was foleysfantasyfootball or something. That's how I knew it had to be you, Em.
