things are getting hairy

Tyler had some seriously unruly hair, 

so we picked up some sheers and set to work.

Let it be noted, 

I can barely pluck my own eyebrows.

Look at those nasty hunks of hair!
It was so thick, he was pretty blonde on the outside, almost brunette underneath.
 
If I had been smarter, I would have (at the very least) given my brilliant grandma a call.
She went to beauty school, and gave me perms every year until I was ten.
On a side note:
Perms are rarely a good idea.
But when you're eight, you don't really care, and it's pretty cute.

Back to the nasty chunks of hair.

But Tyler was so sick of his shagginess.

I didn't get any before pictures. Bummer.

It wouldn't be so bad, if Tyler didn't like having it long on top and short on the sides.

Sheesh. So picky!

And you can barely even notice the mistakes.  Unless you have eyes.  Then you kindof notice the mistakes.

After hair cutting and  cleaning up,

we baked up some brownies and watched criminal minds

and I made Tyler pinky promise not to get murdered.

Mmm. Brownies.
